Why does money so often corrupt family members?
Stepmother had a child where the umbilical was wrapped around his neck, and her amniotic fluid was dangerously low. Amazing her survived but he was developmentally disabled.

What do you think about the general phenomenon where (typically) pretty women are nice to guys and give out flirty signals, but then reject and act disinterested when you ask them out; even if there was a connection? These "I was just being nice" types
How do we know when take one of the options, or when we make a choice?
How about those times when life presents you with two good paths to take? For example, my husband and I backed out of an offer we put on some land this week. It was a tough decision, and I think things *would* have been okay had we stuck with it, but ultimately decided the cons outweighed the pros.
SHOSE SHOW IS LIKE OURS?
My great uncle just lost his wife to alzheimers. She was diagnosed 15yrs ago and he slowly watched her completely lose her mind. In the end she didn't know who he was anymore. He would go to the clinic she stayed at to feed her every day. It was a beautiful and horrible thing to witness.
A lot of people age poorly by letting their standards slip for what is an acceptable level of exercise. They stop walking so far because of 'that bad knee' etc before they know it they can't climb stairs

I’ve been in significant CC debt twice. But the debt was just a symptom. I was miserable and not too pleasant to work with, and had bad relationships in my life.
That's a really important point, I realized lately I have made some choices moral choices, which aren't actually moral choices. I allowed my thinking to become conflated

I know a guy who lent a credit card to a friend, and the friend maxed it out. He made minimum payments but that guy was out several thousand dollars
Is it amoral to give other people power over you by becoming indebted to them?
My parents divorced when I was 10 or so, 1989. The story goes, my mother asked for half… My father said to write a check for $25k, as that was half their CC debt.
I make it a point to struggle to get something important for the personal loaner with the money so I don't become comfortable
I had to explain this to my brother who still owes me $2300. I asked if it was fair that I had to nag him for it. He allegedly "saw" my point but still hasn't paid me.
